The story of the family

Pastor Phil Minter began his ministry in 1989 as a freshman in college. He received his bachelor’s degree in theology and ministry in 1992. During his time in college and after graduation he traveled conducting revivals, youth camps, and conferences in many states and countries. He lived in Athens, Greece for a short time where he aided in the mission efforts throughout Europe.  He returned to the United States where he continued to minister in the USA and Canada. In 1994 he would move back to Georgia and serve on the state staff of the Church of God Prophecy as a state evangelist and youth camp director.

Tina Minter was born in Jesup, Georgia and has been active in ministry since her teen years.  Tina’s father and mother pastored various churches while she served with them as a teacher, youth pastor and children ministry director.  However, Tina’s true calling and love is worship and music. She has been a worship leader and pastor throughout her entire life and believes a passion for worship is a key to true fulfillment in our walk with Jesus.  She serves as the worship pastor and team leader at Harvest.

Phil and Tina married in 1995 and shortly after they started their pastoral ministry.  In 1999 they moved to Trion Georgia where they continue to pastor Harvest Worship Center. While at Harvest, Phil and Tina started a family and have been blessed with two children, Paige and Peyton.

They have directed various ministries throughout their marriage, however their hearts remain at Harvest Worship Center.  They have a lifetime commitment to Chattooga County and the surrounding areas.  Pastor Phil still travels (although limited due to his pastoral commitments) to preach and teach; Revivals, Camps, and, Conferences. Phil and Tina’s hearts are driven with the great commission of Matthew 28.  Reaching souls is and will remain their primary focus!
